Low Lying Placenta
At my 20 week anatomy scan, I found out I have a low lying placenta (1 cm from my cervix). The doctor said it will most likely resolve on its own but in the meantime, no intercourse and "go easy on the exercise." I didn't get a clear answer in what that means, except try not to get my heart rate above 140.
I take a Zumba class twice a week and I'm not sure if I can still do it if I take it easy (dr was not clear on this either). Supposedly at 20 weeks the baby is still small enough that she won't bump my placenta when I exercise.
I really want to stay as healthy as possible this pregnancy (despite all the cookies) and would love to keep going to the class. Does anyone else have any experience with this?
