Ovulation

Molly
I've been TTC baby #1 for 7 months now (and learning A LOT about the process haha). Prior to this month I have been using Clearblue digital ovulation tests but they just aren't making sense. What I mean by that is, my doctor told me that all women's luteal pahase should be around 10-16 days and no more..that is the phase that is always that length. I told him about my tests and he said not to rely on those at all!? If that's corrects, then the Clearblue digital said I was peaking WAY too early. My last luteal phase would have been 26 days long. They say 99% accurate, right? So I'm super confused. Anyways, I ordered bulk home test strips instead this month. I haven't had a line that was quite as dark as the control line....does this mean I didn't ovulate? Or are these tests unreliable? Any advise would be great. The glow app guessed ovulation about 8-9 days ago and the strips are def not confirming that. *ive always been a bit irregular and have already had and ultrasound to check for cysts. My doc says perfectly healthy and okay to conceive. Below: these tests I took morning and night from cycle day 6-29)
