Flying with baby in baby carrier ?

I am going to be traveling in May with my baby and I plan on using a baby carrier for convenience around the airport. My flight will be less than an hour but I am wondering if I will be able to wear and keep baby in carrier on the plane ?

We just got back from our first flight with a baby (3.5 months) and we flew southwest. The flight attendant made sure he was out of it during takeoff. I was feeding him at the time so he already was. I'm not sure if it was just for take off or if he was supposed to stay out. She didn't say. I breastfed during take off and landing. We also had a short 1.5 hour flight so I never put him back in. We had the car seat/stroller gate checked so put him in there after the flight.

I wore him in the airport before our flight. The only issue we had was he was hungry and security took a little longer than anticipated because we were new to it with a baby so being right by my milk angered him. They put you and the baby through the X-ray machine, not body scanner but you can leave him in the carrier which was nice.

I left my daughter in hers when I went on a plane, they didn't say anything to me about it. I think it depends on what flight attendants are on the plane

Here in Canada you can use a carrier but you have to take them out during take off and landing.
