Engagement issues at age 20😒

So my fiance proposed to me a yr ago and got me a new ring today.last yr over the summer my fiance bought me a ring and it made my finger break out so i asked for a new one after he returned from training so my mom helped me look for one after i told her we were engaged so he ran into money issues and she started throwing that "isnt he suppoesed to be ur fiance line" Christmas came and she asked did i get it i said not yet my fiance wanted to save up and re ask me to marry him when he got the ring and I respected that so once he saved up enough he bought me one today and got on one knee and re asked so excited😊but my excitement

Was shattered when i showed my sis the ring and i told her not to tell my mom cus i wanted to show my mom my self my mom gets upset and tells my sister "she didnt tell me she was engaged "😒😒what the hell yea i did shes mad i guess because he didnt ask to propose but when i toldmy mother a yr ago we were engaged she said she aint want him to ask her to marry me till we graduated so we figured heyy lets stay engeged till we graduate now they want me to call my ring a promise ring what do you think ladies
