38 and still not pregnant! What's the chances?

My boyfriend and have been trying to conceive for months. Nothing. . Any suggestions?

Thank you Susie and April for your support. I had spoken to my neighbors friend and she had her daughter at 44. So I know it's not too late. I'm just nervous and just would like to fill this void.

I wish u luck in this! It's kind of a reverse story for me.....I'm 32 & the husband is 45....we are racing against time because the older he gets the quality of his "stuff" weakens.  Hopefully all goes well!

Thank you all for your feedback. It's about 8 months seriously. The difficult part is my cervix is tilted back. We've tried different positions and days. I try to eat right and exercise. He already has a daughter and want another baby. I know that it's not too late but sometimes it's an emotional roller coaster.

I'm new here. My husband is a lot younger & we didn't start trying till I was 43; after 2yrs, 8mos, I got pregnant at 46.  Unfortunately, I miscarried.  My best friend is pregnant at 46 and is due next month - she will be 47.  Both naturally.  So don't give up hope.  I don't know if it will ever happen again for me but you're still young.

How many months are we talking?  After 35 they recommend you go to your drs and get tested after six months of trying.

Many people have babies well into their 30's and 40's. Age ain't nuthin but a number :) stay healthy and positive. I'm
about your age and ttc. I'm a little fearful too. But I think that a little effort (I.e. Tracking BBT, CF, etc) can go a long way.  Never give up hope. Sending positive thoughts your way!
