Is there something that helps lessen the pain during sex?

For some girls it's extremely painful. They try to have sex but are too scared to do the whole thing. Is there something that helps lessen the pain? I have heard abt gel n lubricants. Any other suggestions??

I had this same problem before I went to my obgyn. Has sex always hurt you might just need to stretch it first by using a dialaiter which your obgyn would give you. Or it could be fixable my pain lasted for 2 years and I was embarrassed to ask why. Turns out I had a yeast infection I had no clue about. Now I'm fine.
