Bottom is the TOCO which is on the top of your belly measuring contractions. Top is the baby's heart rate which if baby is head down is the monitor down lower on your belly (the one they used ultrasound gel to put on).

I think one is heart rate and the other is contractions. Now which is which I have no idea, but any time I've been monitored that's what they kept track of, baby's heart rate and contractions.
