are pack n plays comfortable to sleep in?

Soo all my family said to just use this as a crib for now but it seems like after I put this together that the mattress isn't very soft it's like hard -ish? Do babies need more support than that? Can I buy anything to make this more comfortable ? Or am I over reacting and this is perfectly okay to sleep in?

I had pack n plays for my 2 others :) its perfectly fine. Its supposed to be somewhat firm for safety

Firmer is better. My two oldest both slept in a pack and play until they were sleeping through the night. Don't put anything in there to make it softer it raises the risk for SIDS.

My niece used to take long naps on it and she loved it , also i think her mom and dad used it for the first few months as a crib until they got an actual one 👌🏻

I used the pack n play for the first two months. I put down a soft (but not overly soft or fluffy) blanket and he slept great. If it's too soft they can suffocate

You actually need a hard-ish mattress for babies so they don't sink down and get their faces in it. :) so that's perfect! We are using a pack n play bassinet in our bedroom for a few months before transitioning to a crib.

Same here using one for her to sleep in our room with then into a crib once she is two months I done it with my other 3 and it work out great.
