Hot tub while pregnant?!

Is it super bad to go in a hot tub during your first tri mester of pregnancy??

I don't think you're supposed to get in a hot tub while pregnant, no matter what trimester. It's just too hot for the baby. I could be wrong though.

My Dr told me I could go in for about 10 minutes as long as I take a shower after. They're more worried about a bacteria infection than turning your baby into soup.

I only did a couple times with my daughter because it was our own and I could turn the heat down to bath water temp. But going to a public one is too hot & could hurt baby.

No hot tubs. Baby can't regulate their own temp. No hard boiled baby's!

You can. When I've gotten in it was a friends and they turned it down to 100 for me. I stayed in 10 mins at a time. If you feel yourself getting hot just hop out.

I'm sure I (some of us) showers for longer in the same if not hotter water.

I did but I was told that is like the worst thing you could do because you could lose baby..
