Any advice for a new mama

Hello ladies, my baby boy turned 7 weeks today & my husband and I want to try and get him on some type of sleep schedule. Am I nuts for even considering trying this young? Also does anyone else child at this age hold there head up pretty good and is super aware of its surroundings? My final thought, it drives me insane!!! How do you all get your. Babies to keep their binkie in the mouth ???? Please any words of advice are very helpful for me n my husband .... Thanks in advance
