Help! TMI NO PICTURE!

I am almost 7 weeks pp and I have not had a period yet. I had sex twice about 4 weeks pp and again about 5 weeks. I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped it looked as though it was a mucus plug. Now I know it is not my mucus plug but that is the only way to describe the amount of discharge I had. I was just at the dr and he did not mention anything but my period should be here this week or next week. Is the is normal to have all this discharge? I do not remember this with my other 2 pregnancies.
