Home birth plan anyone!?

I've just seen this documentary on Netflix called the business of being born. It's kind of thought provoking and informative. So I'm just curious if anyone are opting to have a home birth?

I'm having a home birth with this little one. I am so lucky to be here in Canada everything is covered by our government coverage except for my birthing tub which is about $100 to have it here for 5 weeks.

Im having an all natural water birth at home.  My midwife is charging $3,000, plus the pool rental. Unfortunately insurance wont cover any of it, but its worth it to my SO and i! I am so excited 😊😄

Home water birth planned, due 2/18, so anyday now! Totally I'm going to spend about 3500-4000 dollars on the birth, but to me it's well beyond worth it!
