Was your sonogram right about the baby gender?

I did my sonogram to find out the gender at 12 and 14 weeks, both of them said I am having a girl..
My doctor makes fun of me and keep saying it might be wrong because I did way to early.

That early it is possible that the penis hasn't fully developed yet, so it could show up after 16 weeks. Where I live, they wont even tell us the gender until at least 20 weeks because of the risk of being wrong. It is quite possible that they were right, but I wouldn't go buying everything pink quite yet!

I was told a boy by the tech at 12 weeks and blood test confirmed that she was right it's a boy.

I was told a girl until 20 weeks... Even then she said girl and had her go back and check prior to leaving... It was a boy- clear a day too.

I see a specialist because I'm high-risk so the machines are pretty high tech & they were able to tell me at 12+5. Checked again at 14 weeks and still correct. I'm currently in my 20th week and it's still a boy. My first pregnancy was a girl and they told me at 14 weeks.
