My doctor's MA called me today and I failed the 1 hour test...with a 147...so only by 7 freaking points. Not shocked, since I was diabetic last time. Originally, I wanted to just skip the 3 hour test and just have her call my supplies in and just finish out the pregnancy as a diabetic. To me, it's not that hard to eat right and test my blood, so I was ready to just accept that fate. She let me know that the last time (in 2012) my numbers were really high at 178...their threshold is 140 for "high but not diabetic"...and she wasn't ready to let me just throw in the towel and accept being diabetic just yet. Sigh. Ok...you talked me into it...I will come take the 3 hour test. 😒😒😒
