How popular would you say the name Austin is?

Just curious. I don't want to end up with something popular like Mason, jaxon, aiden, kayden... Seems like every other kid has one of these names. I don't like ridiculously unique names, but I'd like it to be one you don't hear too often.

I know Austins in their twenties but I haven't heard any babies being named it recently. I like it. It's not unique enough to be weird but I doubt it'll be anywhere near as popular as the Masons and Jaydens.

I think the name is descending in popularity right now. I know several (adult) Austins but I have not heard of anyone in my generation naming their baby Austin.

I'm 22 and I went to school with quite a few austins so I would say it used to be popular. But I haven't heard of any boys named that lately. I think it's cute.
