when to say I'm pregnant

I just had an interview today and to my surprise I actually got it! (Yay) but I never mentioned I was expecting and now I'm a little worried on when I should mention it. 
Anyone have any tips or have gone through the same thing?

Just an FYI, you may not qualify for FMLA since you need to have been working at a company for a certain number of hours before the company legally needs to give it to you. I think it's 1,250 hours or something along those lines. I got pregnant the week before my new job started and the benefits specialist told me that although I do not qualify, they will honor it and due to the new vacation policy it will all be paid. I have been very open and honest with HR and my boss and they have appreciated the candor. I told HR when I was 14 weeks and my boss 2 weeks later since he was on vacation.  HR has been fantastic and working with me to make sure I get the max pay for max time off. If I hadn't told them until I was 6 months along they would have been fine also, but I doubt they would be bending over backward for me like they are right now.

I'm currently in my 2nd week of my new job and just found out I am pregnant. It is no ones business except yours until you begin showing. Make that money girl for you and your new blessing & tell them when the time comes. It's not in a sense as you lied, simply bc the job has not asked. Now, If the job require lifting, etc then tell them right away. Trust me you won't be the first

I would tell them. In uk we have health and safety officers come make sure everything in areas where we work is ok and give advice/guidance just to make sure your going to be comfortable throughout pregnancy. If anything happens like you get sick etc, it's better that your employers know your pregnant too.

First, CONGRATS! I know how scary it can be to change jobs while pregnant as I recently did it. I told my new employer immediately after accepting the offer. Once the offer is extended, legally they can't take it back because you're pregnant. So I wanted to make sure I'd be judged based on my skills and not on my pregnancy. However, it was inportant to me that they not think I was trying to hide something. It's up to you. I just let them know confidently that I would be needing family leave time in February and wanted to let them know :) 
But, I was 14 weeks. If you're still in your first trimester, there's no need to tell them yet! Just a side note.

As an HR Manager who is pregnant I would say honesty is the best policy. Company's need to know for their own info especially if you fall ill at work due stress, lifting anything. By law you can't be discriminated against die to your pregnancy. Both federally and state. Check into your state laws regarding pregnancy discrimination of it helps ease your mind better. I had a past coworker back in 2012 when we both were pregnant who came in and interviewed and was big time showing we all knew she was pregnant and also knew she was very qualified so they couldn't not deny her employment. She was there 4 months before she had her daughter and still came back to her job. Most companies know they can't afford to play the discrimination game!!!

You do not have to tell them before you are hired, but you should absolutely do so early on once you are settled in your new position. It's about creating a sense of trust between the employer and employee and respecting the employer's needs to make accommodations/other arrangements while you take maternity leave. Waiting is more likely to cause resentment than sharing the news early on and being open and honest. They cannot fire you for being pregnant but they can for being deceitful. As am employer, I would want the employee to tell me as soon as possible so that together we could make a plan and so that I could be supportive of the pregnancy. Good luck with your decision.

Unless it affects your ability to do the job, there is no need for them to know until you're ready to tell them. They don't even need to know that you knew you were pregnant during the interview.

I don't know the ethical rules behind of this but I won't  tell them.  I feel like telling them is like telling them you have aids or any other medical issues.  They don't need to know
