UTI while TTC

We are TTC right now, and I developed a UTI. Went to the doctor. He did an ultrasound and said I have fluid in the uterus. Said it might be from burst cyst, and then he saw no follicles, and therefore concluded that I have already ovulated. Anyone had this happen? I think I ovulated a bit earlier then... Now I am thinking what if I didn't ovulate at all... Anyone had a similar experience?
