Most insurances don't cover 3D ultrasound..but I would call & ask your insurance provider just to make certain 😊

My dr office has a 3D machine so any time I get an ultrasound they do both a 2D and a 3D and it's covered under my insurance. If you go out to an independent ultrasound place it won't be covered because those aren't medically necessary

Unless it's medically NEEDED no insurance will cover it. I found a place that will do it for as cheap as $99 near me

My hospital is very generous about the 3D ultrasounds. I haven't had to pay for one and I've had them like 3 times now. My husband and I just get friendly with the tech and they offer to do it for free since they already have the equipment. It's fun for them and for us.
