Unisom and b6 for nausea?

Has anyone ever tried this? It's supposed to be a way cheaper version of the prescription for diclegis.

I've tried about everything so far including zofran.

So far I've lost 10 pounds and haven't been able to keep down food or water for a couple weeks now. Really hoping this works.

There is a med called Diclegis - it is pretty much unisom & b6, and it the only FDA approved med for morning sickness that is safe for baby. Our Dr said Zofran is no longer advised bc it has been linked to heart and urinary tract defects that were previously unknown.

I use Diclegis (Dr insisted when I almost puked on him several times during my appt!) and I think it helps me a lot, but be warned! It makes you sleepy!!

I take it at night and it knocks me the hell out and I wake up hungry as hell

It's the only thing keeping me going right now. Didn't take it last night and today is miserable. I take it at about 530pm so im not super tired the next day. Works great.

I took Unisom and B6 with my first pregnancy and it worked to an extent. At first, I was getting sick 5-6 times a day. Once I started taking it, I was still nauseous and still got sick every few days. I'm currently on my second pregnancy(8 weeks 4 days) and taking Diclegis, and I have yet to actually vomit. I'm still a little nauseous, but it's nowhere near as bad. My doctors office had a coupon that made my Diclegis 30 dollars. Not too bad, but very worth it. I hope this helps!

Unisom and B6 have allowed me to sleep in peace and when I wake up no nausea for a couple hours. I haven't had horrible nausea like some though. Mine is throughout the day where I want to throw up all the time but never actually do. My dizziness is worse. But yes I would recommend trying them together before bed!

I started last night as my nausea hits around 2 am and keeps me awake the rest of the night. Slept through the night last night, got to work this morning and threw up almost immediately. I think I might have to not take the B6 right when I wake up and wait a couple of hours. Hope it starts to work because I am only 6 weeks and I don't want to tell my boss I'm pregnant yet.
