Acne ?

Anyone else have and/or getting crazy bad hormone breakouts? I stopped using my topical Retin-A and benzoyl peroxide when I got my BFP, but now my face is horrible. Was wondering if any of you ladies had suggestions on things you used before in your other pregnancies that were safe.

Apple cider vinegar!!! I know it's sounds strange but put it on a cotton ball and wipe over the bad areas after you wash your face, just like you'd use a toner. Helped my acne and eczema on my face sooo much.

I have always struggled with moderate to severe acne and with pregnancy it definitely got worse. I got some belli brand products and they work so well! They are sulfur based so smell a little icky but are pregnancy safe and have been very effective in bringing my acne from severe to mild.

I've heard a lot of women use proactiv  safely and never have issues. I'm just concerned because the main ingredients are benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid which haven't been researched in pregnancy.

My skin has gotten worse into my 20s, instead of better like it should, and pregnancy is definitely not helping. I used to use benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid daily, but since the effects those have on a developing baby is still unclear and possibly damaging, I opted to stop using them. I use cetaphil's wash that's designed for acne (purple bottle), as well as oil-control Simple face wipes. I still get acne but it helps. I also use a charcoal face mask from Giovanni occasionally.

Never had acne until  my first pregnancy at 22, been battling it ever since. Best of luck! It messed with my emotions pretty bad got a couple years, but I finally seen to have it under control by not wearing foundation, just pressed powder.

I use Cetaphil and purpose. They are both gentle cleansers.

My skin started breaking out terribly at about 5 weeks and it drove me crazy! I started using a charcoal cleanser and mask by Biore and it has made a huge difference!
