Position of baby???? Help?!

Every morning I read the daily health scoop on this app. This morning I read about the position of baby ... All these women post about how their baby was head down at 27 weeks and still is at 36... Mind you, many women posted the same comments..
Now my concern... I haven't had an ultrasound in quite some time.. At my checkups with my doctor they ask me how I'm feeling ...take my vitals we listen to my baby girls heart beat them we schedule another appointment ... . that's it...should I be concerned? This is my first pregnancy so I don't know any better or anything else.. I thought this is how it goes.. How come I haven't had an ultrasound lately and do not Know more information..like her position.. I'm 33 weeks 2 days.. We go to the doctor Friday Feb. 12th.. Just for another checkup she told me after this appointment they will start doing more at the appointments like vaginal exams and such.. But that seems so far away....

If your pregnancy is normal and without complications then they are doing exactly what they should be doing.

Most doctors go off fundal height (measuring your belly) to be sure baby is growing fine. As long as your measurements are within normal range, they usually don't feel the need to do a growth scan. Growth scans can be WAY off anyway...up to 2 pounds off either direction.

For positioning, they typically don't start checking for that until about 36 weeks and even then it doesn't matter because baby can turn during labor. My first two children were head down from 36 weeks on but my 3rd was breech, transverse, then breech again at 37 and 38 weeks and when I went into labor at 39 weeks he turned on his own. 
They had been trying to force me into a c section of an internal cephalic version (doctor turns baby manually) for several weeks but I refused and I'm glad I did because my labor ended up being 4 hours start to finish with no pain meds or interventions.

Trust your baby and your body, mama. If you haven't had any problems then your doctor doesn't need to do much. Also, you CAN refuse cervical checks if you'd like. I was dilated to 4cm or MORE for weeks before going into labor with my first two and knowing that only made me more anxious. With my third I just refused. They aren't important unless you're in active labor.

I didn't get my growth scan , until 35 weeks . So I went without knowing if my baby was head down or not . My doctor didn't wanna do it so early because they can switch back to breech but at 35 weeks there is little to no room to try to flip back. You should ask your doctor to give u another ultrasound or see if they can check the position of the baby with their hands

I seen ladies posting about the baby growing and being so many inches and roughly so long. My doctor don't tell me nothing .. I ask they said they don't measure the baby..they go off the size of the head. And I'm left like ??? I'm 25 weeks and I always wonder if the app is correct about the size because that's all I have to go off of.

Most uncomplicated, problem free pregnancies only get 2 scans, one Dating and one anatomy scan. They can tell babies position by feeling your belly, that's what they get taught. 
I have to have scans every 2 weeks due to 2 major blood losses at 20w and 24w and being 100% effaced and 2cm since 27+4 so they have to keep an eye on baby an growth because bleeding that late on can cause stunts in there growth, especially the amount i lost
If our doctor was concerned about baby in anyway they would take precautions. Don't worry

This is my 6th healthy pregnancy and I've never knows what position my babies are in. Really they can still change day to day until quite far along (like 34-36 weeks).
The ladies you read about are either 1- getting lots of scans due to complicated pregnancies or 2- assuming that their baby wasn't doing flips from scan to scan.
