ok mommys what happend when a women smokes weed daily in her pregnacy is the baby going to be ok still? my friend smokes daily takeing bong rips is there gonna b effect on her baby ? i juss wanna try to help her if weed does hurt the baby

It doesn't hurt the baby BUT drs drug test pregnant women and again at birth and if there's any positives for illegal drugs they turn it in to CPS

Alot of people judge people but i smoked weed with my first and he came out 8lb 6oz and very healthy hes 9 now and hes is the smartest one in is class nothing wrong with him.. So personally i dont think theres anything wrong with it..

Some places test for marijuana and other drugs, but I'd wager that marijuana would be safer in oil or edible form (smaller amounts needed for the effect and doesn't have the oxygen risks of smoking). If she's doing it recreationally without medical supervision I'd ask if she knows testing policies in her area.

Then again, I am pro-medical marijuana and pro-decriminalization so I have a different perspective and think it should be able to be researched and studied.

My aunt did it and my cousins fine but that doesn't mean it's ok. She also smoked cigarettes the entire time.

Not worth the risk you dint know what might happen the baby is developing she should be taking precautions not risks!!!! If you can't go nine months without it that's pretty selfish if she wants to risk harming her child then guess that's up to her

Some stayed do drug tests during pregnancy. And if at anytime you test positive they will test when the baby is born as well and then that just creates a whole new situation..

I ONLY smoke because of how bad my nausea is .. Even at 12 weeks it still comes and goes. and I even still feel bad for doing it , plus, the way my attitude is set up now.... It helps calm my nerves... It was bad before but  now that I'm pregnant its 10x worse

My friend smoked pot and cigarettes and both her babies were full term but weighed 4lbs when born they are 10 and 8 now.  I'm not sure of their health now, she got them taken away and we don't talk anymore. It's not something I'd do. I don't care how many people say they've had nice big babies and their fine, I just could never do it.

I don't think the actual THC will hurt the baby but the smoke going into her lungs definitely can.
