What to eat during early labor?

I'm 3cm and 80% thinned, doc says she will come tonight or tomorrow. What should / could I eat?im still at home, having a few steady contractions . I don't want to eat anything greasy. FTM & 40+2 . Thanks!

I would eat light in case labor starts to progress quickly. I have always had nausea and vomiting during labor. Maybe something like a panini and chips or toast and eggs.

U can eat whatever u feel like but light but i couldnt anything wasnt hungry at all throughout my whole 12hours of labour & then right after i pushed my baby out i told my husband if he could get me maccas haha

You're usually not allowed to eat during labor. That's a question you need to ask the labor and delivery nurses.

I was at the hospital early my Dr wanted to monitor me because I was high risk I was only having contractions and was sure they where going to send me home I wasn't dilating or anything next morning at 4am my waters broke so then I knew I would have the baby that day but still wouldn't dilate so they had to put me on that drip to speed things up lol anyway they brought in lunch to me in the labour room and all had some sausage casserole even brought in food for my partner I would say to eat kinda healthy foods that will give you a bit of energy and take in some lollies when you go in you will need your energy

A nice tuna sandwich with some kettle cooked potato chips. Nice and filling but light enough not to mess with your tummy
