How many weeks maternity leave does your company give paid?

FTM and my company only gives 6 weeks paid after baby. Is that the norm? My friends both got 12 weeks paid.

If you are in the US you should just be grateful for any paid leave- sadly.

I get 1 week full pay and 4 weeks half pay.

I didn't get any paid maternity leave. I went back after 7 weeks.

I get 6 weeks due to my short term disability insurance and I have about a week of PTO saved up but the company itself doesn't provide paid leave.

I get 12 weeks unpaid, but I'm going back after 6. I can't afford more time off. They did tell me I have to use all my vacation and sick time too. So I guess almost 2 weeks will be paid, better then nothing but still rough.

I get 6 paid 6 unpaid and I'm taking my paid week vacation too so I'll be off for 13 weeks

If i didn't pay for short term disability my job wouldn't pay me at all.  They only have to offer and go by FMLA which is only job protected leave for 12 weeks in any 12 month term.  But because I pay biweekly for my short term disability, I will be paid 60% of my pay for 6 weeks since I'm having a csection, 4 weeks if natural birth.  It starts on the 15th day after leave has started so I will have to use my vacation or personal time before then.
