I'm 36w 4 and I'm wondering when do you dilate? I haven't dilated at all even. Is this normal for how many weeks I am or should I be at least a 1/2 or 1cm? Should I be worried

some people have dilated in the late 20 weeks, some people don't dilate until labor, some don't even dilate at all until the dr does something. everyone says dilation doesn't mean anything tho.

Normal? Every pregnancy is different. I dilated 0-10cm and delivered at 32 weeks. Most people don't dilate until after their contractions start and they're in labor.

I didn't dilate or efface at all with my son. But some women don't until right before they go into labor or even during labor. And then someone start dilating early but stay at like a 1 for weeks.
