Do they really know ?

Question

Okay soo maybe this might sound dumb. 
But do babies really know things from inside the womb ? like you know how people say ' when her dad/grandma/cousin /sister etc comes in the room she starts kicking away, she must like them.' is that true ? or how people say 'she loves when I do this (activity) BC she moves the whole time ' 
stuff like that. I don't know if I'm making sense but I won't sleep until I get an answer 😂😭 honestly I'm really curious.

Well anytime my partner is talking she kicks like crazy, & moves to whatever side he is on. So I can only assume she knows, and likes him at least a little :p

I work at Starbucks and my friend said while she was pregnant with her last daughter, when she would grind coffee her baby would dance in her belly a lot and so she said months after she had her they wanted to see if they would get the same reaction while at home and she said she does. 
Penelope will wake up to she sounds of coffee grinding and just dance and laugh. They also say they do it when she's throwing a fit because it helps her calm down. 
") she's about 9 month almost 10 now. 
Maybe its a coincidence, maybe it's not. I don't think so.

Every single time my husband is talking OR if he puts his hand on my tummy, baby is completely motionless until he either moves his hand or quits talking. Then he will start back up & practice his ninja skills on my uterus.

Who knows, could be a coincidence I suppose.... But he doesn't completely stop moving for anyone except my husband.
