Is my period normal??

I don't remember this ever happening to me during my past periods.... Anyways, today I started my period, and the blood is that brownish thick consistency that it usually is at the end because the bloods been there longer. Is this normal? Cause this only my first day😬 and if you can explain why I might have this, it would be appreciated.

The brownish discharge can be at the start or end, it can have a thick or thin consistency.
It's totally normal, I got my period today too and I had reddish brown discharge right at the start and usually more so towards the last day of my period, hope that helps
