Bladder infection and cold

First time pregnancy and my dr discovered that I have a bladder infection and gave me anti botics that are safe for the baby to clear it up. Anyone had this before?? Also seems like I got smacked by a full force cold and can't keep anything down, and tips to stay hydrated??
