Sex drive and the pill

Is it common to lose sex drive when you're on the pill? I was on the pill for a year, been off it 3 months and the sex has been soooo much better but I'm about to get back on to help with some issues. I'm afraid the sex won't be as amazing when I get back on. Anyone else have this problem?
