From what my doc and midwife say, testing in the morning will have the highest concentration of hormones in your urine because it was sitting in your body all night. That being said, if you think you might be ovulating soon and get a negative one in the morning, I would test again later in the day (preferably a couple hours after you've eaten and not after drinking a lot of fluids). I've had borderline opks in the morning that turned into positives by the evening.

Though, I have heard other people say their docs say the opposite, that you don't want the high concentration of hormones so to test later. Who the heck knows. At this point I feel like I'm a squirrel hiding little stashes of pee sticks in the bathroom and my purse, I might as well just test all the time 😑

I wonder the same thing. Clear Blue says to test in the morning but I got my positive OPK in the evening..I ended up testing both times with cheaper strips.
