Small baby shower?

I'm nervous about having a small baby shower. I had a few friends in HS, because I didn't trust most people. I'm just nervous no one will show up for it. Am I the only one?

Definitely not. I only have about one friend & some family but both never really come around or we just don't talk so I'm worried no one will even show to mine either. But I'm sure they will come for you & baby. (:

We are just having my siblings, hubs siblings and our parents and my gramdma. Men invited too. So only 14 total. I'm having a brunch with my two friends on another date.

I didn't want my shower partly because I was worried about this. In the end I was right, only family showed up none of my friends came or even bothered to tell me they couldn't make it. It hurt, but I got some things for the baby and that was what mattered.

Same here... Only about 20 people total invited including family, and some I know won't be able to make it bc of work. Not worried though I wasn't expecting a huge blow out, nor am I relying on it to provide me with stuff ( this is the first grandbAby and my family has already bought me almost everything I need). Big shower or not my baby is loved for sure already! 😊

I planned for maybe 20 people showing up besides my mom, siblings, his parents, and his sister. We had maybe 15 people show up total. And over half was people we knew would be there anyway. We still had a huge gift turn out.
