Low dose aspirin?

My Dr told me to start taking a low dose aspirin to help with bp, since I had preclampsia with DD. I was trying to see if anybody has also taken this, I have been a little scared to take it.

My dr is having me do the same. I've been taking a daily baby aspirin 81mg I think? I wasn't told to with my 1st baby so hopefully this pregnancy will go smoother. I had a rough time in the end with my bp and water retention.

I have four children and I have had to take baby aspirin for the last three I am high risk due to health problems and I'm on my 5 pregnancy and also taking it ..
It's safe and your doctor will let you know when to stop taking it ..

I should take it everyday. High blood pressure with first born. I take maybe 4 a wk. Feels better for babygurl n my peace of mind x

I had severe Preeclampsia with my DD as well. I'm seeing a high risk Dr and have been taking a low dose asprin for about a month now. I haven't had any problems taking it. I also have to monitor my BP every day. Good luck to you :)

I was diagnosed with heart palpitations with my youngest at 5 1/2 months and was put on low dose asprin, it's perfectly safe. You do however need to stop taking it at least 4 weeks before your due date because it is a blood thinner and you bleed more with a blood thinner.
