Is it ok to eat popcorn shrimp?

I'm 4 weeks and am not supposed to have meat on Fridays (lint) is it ok to eat popcorn shrimp or cod?

Well I neve ate sea food with my first one and I ask my mom if I can get it she told me no but I seen my friends way sea food while pregnant n there babies came out fine but I am also doing lent but I think depending on u cause I'm a high risk so my docs want me to eat fish but I hate fish but I like shrimp lol weird huh so I personally think it's just depends on u cause some will say no n some will say yes as long it's fully cooked all thre way

Yes, none of those are high in mercury so it's totally safe. Seafood during pregnancy is good for you bc it contains omegas and dha - these help with brain development and eyesight! Also, having traveled to Japan and seen pregnant women eating sushi all over the place, I think it's more that you should know that the seafood (and meat in general) that you eat is from a safe place - meaning very fresh or flash frozen until cooking :)
