Labor question

April
I am scheduled to be induced on March 12th. This is an elective induction. I am choosing to be induced for several reasons. I live in an extremely rural area and am about 45 minutes from my hospital. I have a 7 year old who goes to school down the road but my husband works over an hour away. Even before heading home for me, should I go into labor, he'd have to return the county car and get his car. He'd take, at a minimum, 2 hours to get home to me. We also have no family or friends here so I would have no one to watch my daughter while I'm in labor. My MIL is coming in from FL to be with her when I'm induced. I'm not happy about the need to do this as I know that nature knows best, however I don't have much a choice in the matter. My question is, can anyone share positive stories of labor after induction? I'm freaking out with all that could go wrong. I was given pitocin with my daughter so I am aware of the intense contractions. Anyone care to lighten my mood? It's currently 4:18am and I'm laying here obsessing about this. :-)
