So, I just got off of birth control in Aug. My Dr told me to wait about 3 months or 3 cycles before trying to get pregnant. It's pretty regular, every 21 days, lasting 5 days... My husband has been gone for a month but right before he left, we were intimate. I had a period after that but the next one, which should be now, hasn't come... I'm 5 days late but I'm not sure if I'm pregnant or I just skipped this period. I'm only questioning it because I had a period about 2 weeks after we had sex but didn't have sex again because he was out of town. I guess my question is, can you still have a regular period and be pregnant?

My husband said to wait until the end of the month before I take a test. I just don't want to be disappointed...
