Where does everyone GO to get these hCG numbers??

I know what the numbers ARE, & I know how/when/why they get higher, just not WHERE TO GO!!

My first two daughters were born in 2001 & 2003. I remember going in for a blood test & 'proof of pregnancy' paperwork for my insurance, but I never remember them telling me any numbers at all & I looked back into my journals and whatnot, and it didn't say anything about any numbers.

I lost insurance at the end of January- how convenient right? So I have to go somewhere this month to get proof of pregnancy paperwork, then I can get immediate insurance through the state until it's offered at my husbands work.

I don't have a problem getting Medicaid because I feel like even though it is welfare, it is not me getting money, just getting medical care for myself, Sweetpea, (baby's nickname till we know gender) and my daughters. I can't imagine anyone having a problem with me wanting to be able to see a doctor and wanting my children to be able to see a doctor!

What I'm trying to ask is, did you get these blood tests from your regular PCP or your OB or from like a Planned Parenthood clinic? And if I do go and get them, how would I get a second set? If they're not deemed necessary and I just want them, how would I get them? Thanks!!
