Late ovulation?

Glow app says I was supposed to ovulate last week 14th-18th, but I'm just barely today starting to have CM. Is it common to ovulate close to the end of your cycle rather than in the middle?

Yes. According to webMD and other doctors, ovulation occurs usually 14 days before your next period. This would put it at the exact middle of your cycle if you had a regular 28-day cycle. However, most women average a 28-32 day cycle and can even extend to 34 or 36 days. So depending on your cycle length, you could ovulate later than the exact middle. My cycle is on the longer side at 32 days. So I start being fertile around day 18 instead of 14 of my cycle. Hope this helps!

That happened to me this month! My cycle is usually 27 days and I usually ovulate on cycle day 13/14. This cycle I ovulated around cycle day 19/20. I was supposed to start my period yesterday and today is cycle day 28 with no sign of AF yet. I'm thinking I will probably start AF around cycle day 32. Guess it happens sometimes!
