Not sure how controversial this is: my mother tells me every time I say the name we picked out for our son is "too black" . My husband is Hispanic and I'm 75% Italian, so in going through names we chose Dante (Anthony or Charles, not sure of the middle name yet) Hernandez. We thought it was a not often and that the first name and last name sounded good together. Would you change the name you chose to make other family members happy, am I wrong in thinking it sounds more like a Hispanic than anything else?
