Definitely not! He needs to stay and fight for the relationship. My hubby left once when we were first married. He was only gone for a couple of hours, but when he came home all his clothes were packed by the front door. I told him if he was going to run away from our problems instead of staying and working on figuring out how to make our marriage better, then he could leave for good. He understood where I was coming from. Now we might cool off in separate rooms, and I compulsively clean to get rid of m u aggression, but we don't leave each other. That type of behavior is too passive aggressive to be healthy.
