I type a lot for school and work. Although there are external keyboard for tablets...it just doesn't feel the same.

I'd go for a tablet it's faster. It really depends on what you want to use it for. If you need to write papers, use a spreadsheet or general business stuff then a laptop would be best. If u want something to browse the web, read emails, check social media and  that can fit into your purse and not heavy I'd go with a tablet

Why not both lol. The laptop that can fold and use like a tablet.
