Do you care if your SO has pictures of his ex??

My SO was in a relationship with his ex for two years and seven months. He burned all of their memories with his friends, but he kept a flash drive of ALL their pictures (we have 400 pictures six months in), their prom picture, the customized puzzle his ex made him and the blanket she made him. His excuse is that because she was apart of his life, he would want to show our kids that part of his life. Would you care? Because I'm having an emotional breakdown since I don't think it's okay. I'm 18, he's 20. They were high school sweet hearts, lost their virginities to each other and I lost mine to him.

Fuck ya. Exes need to be left and buried in the past. Not shoved down the current's SO throat...fuck your memories.  If she's not dead,  than it means u didn't work out. If u didn't work out, why keep pics and memories.  That shows one thing.  He's not over her

So I will admit, I do have a few tokens of my past lovers, even though I am currently happily engaged.
However.. the fact that he would want to show it to your children is a little strange to me. Your children should be the final connection between the two of you, your blood and his blood creating one being together. And it shouldn't involve another person, regardless of their past status. 
I guess I could see it both ways. I'm not asking my fiancé's mother to take down photos of him and his past prom dates just because we're getting married and those are different girls than me.
So in a way, you can't ask him to erase this person who has obviously had a huge impact in his life. But I would not condone dragging her through your life together, all the way into your children's lives.

He wants to tell your future kids about her?  Thats weird. I found a framed pic of my husbands high school girlfriend from 12 years ago and kept it.... In a dusty box in the basement haha. Other than that he doesnt need keepsakes and puzzles and blankets

No one should have pictures of their ex in my opinion not even pictures of people they've done stuff with, hell in my opinion shouldn't even talk to them or any connection

Honestly... If they're an ex, they're an ex for a reason. I would never keep something like that around. 2 years into my ex and I relationship I found a hidden Flickr account showing me pics of at least three of his exes AND ME. Freaking creepy!!! He got MAD when I told him to delete them and got MAD when I called it creepy. Our relationship was honestly getting really bad anyway so I just moved out a month later. Still. Exes are exes FOR A REASON.

Ok i am on the fence i don't burn pictures period the whole blanket, puzzle thing though is WAY too much.  My pictures from Exs also have friends, family and milestones in them.  Or even trips to places i will never return to.  my sons biological father has a box under my bed i kept pictures of our time together.  When he asks they are there for him to look at.  Any of my other ex's are just on fb mainly and mostly because i dont have the time to scroll back through and delete this or that. Nor is he important enough to warrant the time to delete.  
My SO though isnt bothered he knows how I feel about my Exs 3 of them cheated and i have made it clear the disdain i hold for them.  
If this bothers you then talk to him explain why and come to a compromise.

Does he look at those pictures at all? I have some little things from left from the boy i lost my virginity to just because we were together for a really long time but i never really look at those things at all and i dont think of him i dont see an issue with keeping things but if he is sitting looking at pictures thinking of her that would bother me and why would he wanna show your kids that?  That's strange
