Breastmilk question ?

I'm a first time mom so I apologize if this question seems a little stupid . I decided not to breastfeed but what happens to the milk ? If I leave my boobs alone will the milk dry up ? Or am I supposed to squeeze the milk out ?

It will be painful for a bit, as your body will still initially produce milk until it realizes it won't be used.  The engorgment should go away fairly quickly, but it will hurt, and quite possible a lot.  Just wanted you to be prepared :)

Leave them alone. If you squeeze them, they'll keep producing.
