Sciatica???

Question

Anyone else experiencing horrible sciatica pain? I'm 32 weeks and it's starting around my hip and shooting down my leg... It's terrible!! Anything I can do for relief??

My doctor told me wear a belly band and do physical therapy, which I won't do, it doesn't help!!

I have pinched nerves from my back to my ankles. My ankle, back, hips, groin and knee have been affected by it. The pain sucks. I have to literally pick my leg up into my vehicle with my hands and it hurts to drive because I can't put my legs where they need to be. I am in therapy. It's helping a little. They put a heel lift in my shoe because one leg is longer than the other. I am a mess and it will not go away until she is born

I've been having pretty bad sciatic nerve pain too. My doctor said I could do all the stretches I want but the best remedy was to not bend at the waist. That's impossible because I teach preschool where everything is miniature! I guess I'll just tough it out until April...

I was in terrible pain for a month. Tried massage, yoga stretches. Finally, two visits to a physical therapist did the trick! They figured out it was coming from a particular part of my lower spine, and did some targeted massage (to loosen it up, get it out of spasm) and iced it. I'm so glad I went instead of trying to muddle along with stretches for two months!

I been having bad sciatic nerve pain in my right but cheek for a month or so. And it sucks. I can walk for a half hour to an hour and once the pain starts I can consider it a wrap.

I find some yoga stretches really helps. Aqua aerobics is a really great way to ease sciatica pain too.
