Is it too early to buy stuff for the baby? Im 4 months and not sure when i should start getting a few things. When did u ladies start shopping?

I'm 4 months also and I've been browsing. I haven't bought any baby clothes yet. I may start stocking up on diapers and buy some bottles and formula, so I have some when my boy comes. 😊

We bought our baby's first set of onesies when we found out what we were having, which was 5 months. I haven't bought anything else yet due to our baby shower but everyone keeps telling us not to buy anything because you get so much stuff. I think if you see any outfit you really like, a type of diaper you want to use, or little toys your baby might enjoy...then go for it!

No, you might not be able to get gender specific things yet but you still can. Doesn't hurt to be prepared with essentials or anything. We got the baby a t shirt before we knew what we were having and a couple other things along the way. Not much, but even buying one thing is exciting

Nope! I'm planning on buying 1 big thing a month so it's not so much as once. I'll probably leave a lot of stuff in the box until I'm a little further along though.

I bought baby's crib around 4 months because I found a really good deal. And I've gotten a lot of outfits secondhand from family. But I'm waiting until after my baby shower to buy anything else so I don't have duplicates or too many of one size. I decided to have my baby shower kind of early (31 weeks) so that way I'll have a lot of time left to figure out what all I need to buy and shop around.
