Robatussin maximum strength cough syrup- Is it safe to take?

Kayla
I know regular robatussin cough syrup is safe to take because I called my ob a couple days ago, but what do you think of maximum strength night time robatussin. I have a horrible cough and I'm not sleeping well at night and I need more relief. I bought an humidifier so I'm hoping that helps. Wondering if anyone got the ok from there ob.

Don't take this as serious medical advise, as this is what my doctor told me but every person and pregnancy is different. I didn't use maximum strength but regular, and I was SO congested that I needed nose spray. I called my doctor and all the medicated ones are class C BUT he advised me that a general rule for pregnancy is "a little of something isn't bad". So using nose spray every night could be bad, but not just one squirt if that makes since. He also stressed how important sleep is. So with that being said, I would say taking one dose of it wont hurt, but again- I can't say that with 100% certainty. Sorry! Hope that helps.

It works pretty well, not as long as the other ones that we can't use, but it gives you a little relief. Hope this helps 😊

This does help thank you. I do know that there is a nose spray called ocean that you can use that's safe. It was on my safe list my ob gave me. You can get it at rite aid or Walmart.
