Is it hard to lose weight after pregnancy?

Question

I'm not very big at my pregnancy, but I'm curious if it takes a long time after labor to lose weight. Is it harder?(takes more effort) I'm really curious. Any moms?

I swear by breastfeeding! I didn't work out for quite a while after giving birth (too tired and sore) and I went back to my pre-pregnancy size and shape within 7 weeks. I was shocked!

Im 5'7 started out at 115 and gained 64 pounds with my first.....within 4 weeks i was back down to120 and a semi tight belly. Ive gained 41 pounds this pregnancy  (26+6) and im not worried about getting back to my 115 😊

You loose a lot in the beginning just by drinking a lot of water and getting off the water retention...I plan on doing just like last pregnancy...Breastfeed, Eat Healthy, Walk and do Yoga....It worked well I lost all of my baby weight!

I hit my prepregnancy weight by four months postpartum, but wasn't able to fit back into my pants for a few more months after that because even though my weight was the same, I wasn't shaped the same.

Still breast-feeding at eight months postpartum and still losing weight. I'm 8 lbs below my weight at conception and still losing 1-2 lbs/month. I snack in the middle of the night because I'm hungry, I'm probably consuming's 500 to 600 calories more than usual.

It's just about making a commitment to you, you have to take care of yourself as well as your child. I gained 60 pounds with my first baby and I lost it all before getting pregnant with my second, a year later. I wasn't breastfeeding so I really pushed myself

I remember with my first right after I had her I lost 20 pounds plus I was breastfeeding it really does help you loose a lot of weight. So at the end of my pregnancy I was 201 pounds a year after I had her I went downtown to 166 so I guess I lost a lot of weight although I think it takes time for you to go actually go back to pre pregnancy weight but then again I did not excersise at all so I would say breastfeeding helped😀
