Any phlebotomists here???

I am currently a Cna looking into phlebotomy. How long did the phlebotomy class take??? I see some lasting for 5 weeks & some 5months. Thanks

The one at my local college is a 8 week course then you take the national exam at the end and you are certified.

Most classes won't certify you, taking your national test will. So you can take any length of class but most just prepare you for the ASCP test...

I've been one for 3 years...the schooling took 3 months plus an externship which lasted a month
