No. You can contract hep c through numerous things not just having sexual contact with them. I work in a nursing home and someone there has hep c & we have to wear gloves any time we are in contact with them. So do not automatically assume he his cheating he could have contracted it in many ways.

Not necessarily. It's passed in many ways. I had hepatitis c and probably got it from my mum either during childbirth or somewhere throughout my childhood. It's actually pretty unlikely someone will get it through plain old sex. It's also harder for a woman to pass it to a man. Much easier for a man to give it to a woman (or another man). Don't condemn him for having it. Explore how he could have got it, be brutally honest with each other. Are you sure he only just got it? Because I had it for maybe 17 years and didn't know.
