Sorry this is a bit long, but I need a rant, and peoples opinions please! So in March last year I started talking to this guy over Instagram, unfortunately he was really busy with work and we couldn't meet up before I went to Australia in the middle of April. I was going out there for a month with one of my best friends (Charlotte) to see our other best friend (Holly). We were all so looking forward to spending time together again and catching up on everything going on in our lives. Even though I hadn't met up with the guy on Instagram yet (Mike) I missed him like crazy and felt homesick quite often, texted him when I could or used wifi when I could to talk to him. On our last week in Aus, Holly stopped talking to me. Me and Holly had been best friends since we were 5, so 15 years, then all of a sudden she stopped talking to me. I came back home to the UK, she still didn't really talk to me, and finally met up with Mike, he's been my boyfriend ever since! So Holly came back from Aus, still wasn't talking to me, I tried talking to her and tried meeting up with her but she made our conversations really short and came up with excuses not to meet up with me. I work every day during the week, as does my boyfriend, so we see each other at weekends. Holly doesn't have a job so has all week free, then plans things in our group of friends for Saturday nights, which I can't do as I stay 45 minutes away from where she lives. Told her I can do friday evenings, but still plans things for Saturday evenings, then bitches behind my back that I'm always letting them down and never see them. I'm the only one that drives out of the group of friends, I'm the only one that works all week, and I'm the only one with a boyfriend. I've given up trying to talk to Holly, is that the right thing to do? And should she be annoyed at me for basically having a life and trying to earn a living?
