How long after mc did your body go back to 'normal?

After a mc about 6 months ago my periods are still a bit irregular and according to clear blue digital I haven't ovulated(at least for the last 2 and a bit months) my is not concerned a bit and said 6 months isn't really a long time after a mc, and as I already have 1 healthy child so he's not concerned. So angry about this as I feel 6 months is a long time to not ovulate and my daughter is 3 so a lot can change in 3 years!!
